How TEKYAZ Became the #1 SolidCAM Reseller 5 Years in a Row
TEKYAZ, SOLIDWORKS and SolidCAM reseller in Turkey, started in 1994, a year before the first release of SOLIDWORKS. In 1999, TEKYAZ became Turkey’s first SOLIDWORKS VAR, and are now the largest SOLIDWORKS VAR in Turkey. TEKYAZ has grown to 7 offices with 45 Sales representatives, 150 employees, with over 5,000 SOLIDWORKS customers and 10,000 seats installed resulting in $20 million of revenue.
In 2003, TEKYAZ began a reseller partnership with SolidCAM, the leaders in Integrated CAM. Since then, TEKYAZ has grown their SolidCAM base to 1,700 customers with 2,100 seats of software installed, proving the partnership to be immensely successful.
Each year, TEKYAZ holds their annual TEKYAZ Design Summit for 1500-2000 people. The Annual Summits highlight what’s new in SOLIDWORKS and SolidCAM, with presentations from CAD experts and SOLIDWORKS executives. These Summits provide an amazing networking opportunity and heavily promote SolidCAM as the CAM solution for SOLIDWORKS users.
TEKYAZ is also doing very well in the Swiss-Type CAM market, including great partnerships with MAKINO, HAAS, ISCAR, KENNAMETAL, Victor Taichung, Nomura and STAR. In 2022, TEKYAZ made an agreement with STAR to only sell SolidCAM with their STAR CNC machines in Turkey, continuing TEKYAZ’s mission to make SolidCAM the de facto CAM software for all of Turkey.
