SolidCAM made a strong impact at the JIMTOF 2024 exhibition in Tokyo!

  • Collaborating with its veteran Japanese reseller, Tactx, to highlight its advanced Multi-Channel Mill-Turn and Swiss CAM solutions. With its headquarters in Nagoya and seven branches across Japan, Tactx showcased SolidCAM’s capabilities to new prospects, emphasizing its ability to streamline complex machining processes. Tactx’s technology center in Gifu, equipped with cutting-edge CNC machines such as the OKK Sim5X, Citizen Swiss CNC, and an incoming Mazak Integrex, served as a testament to this partnership’s success.

SolidCAM also strengthened its relationships with leading CNC manufacturers at JIMTOF 2024:

  • Citizen: Discussions with Misono-san, Deputy General Manager of Citizen HQ, and Markus Reissig, Geschäftsführer of Citizen Machinery Europe GmbH, focused on expanding SolidCAM’s support for Citizen and Miyano CNCs. A comprehensive post-processor database is under development to optimize these machines globally.
  • Star: Meetings with Katsuhiro Shinomiya, Star HQ Technical Manager, aimed to enhance cooperation and further refine the post-processor database for all Star CNC brands, ensuring seamless integration with SolidCAM’s Swiss CAM solutions.
  • FANUC: Collaboration discussions included plans to install a FANUC ROBODRILL CNC with CRX Cobot at SolidCAM GmbH’s technology center in Schramberg, Germany, underscoring SolidCAM’s commitment to innovation in CNC automation.

These partnerships demonstrate SolidCAM’s dedication to advancing CNC machining in the Japanese market and beyond, solidifying its reputation as a leader in Multi-Channel Mill-Turn and Swiss CAM solutions for manufacturers worldwide.
