Stephan Terhorst has been promoted to VP of Revenue & Business Processes at SolidCAM Global

Dear SolidCAMers,

To further strengthen our push and efforts for SolidCAM‘s fastest growth, we are pleased to announce that Stephan Terhorst has been promoted to VP of Revenue & Business Processes at SolidCAM Global.

Stephan will spearhead our growth initiatives in this role by innovating sales strategies, identifying market opportunities, and optimizing our business plans and processes. He will focus on our global operations, including our branches, affiliates, and resellers’ business activities worldwide.

Stephan started his professional career 20 years ago as a CAD/CAM programmer in a machine shop specializing in prototype manufacturing, eventually becoming the production manager for Sim5X manufacturing. He also gained extensive knowledge in Business Administration through his studies and involvement in several businesses across different industries.

Stephan joined SolidCAM GmbH in 2009 as head of sales for the Northwest Germany team. Two years later, he moved to the marketing manager and deputy sales manager role, including reseller management of resellers in the DACH region.

Since 2013, Stephan has started focusing completely on developing the best business processes to streamline our SolidCAM Germany operations. In 2023, he became deeply involved with our CIO, David Somekh, to enhance Salesforce, our central CRM system, to best support our business processes and sales activities through our branches and resellers worldwide.

As part of the SolidCAM global management, Stephan will now collaborate closely with me, Natalie Somekh, Michael Leditzky, Ken Merritt, and our other regional leaders and sales managers, leveraging his deep experience in analyzing key metrics to shape business strategies best and oversee their execution.

We wish Stephan every success in generating maximum revenue from the SolidCAM businesses worldwide.
